Celebrate 8th Annual Black Restaurant Week Beginning Tomorrow
Milwaukee’s 8th annual Black Restaurant Week is set to kick-off tomorrow, Tuesday, April 25 and run through Sunday, April 30. The event, organized by BlankSpace MKE, offers an opportunity for Black-owned restaurants to reach new customers, create an avenue for patrons to support locally-owned businesses, and also showcase great food that exists throughout the city.
A kick-off event will be held tomorrow at the Sherman Phoenix (3536 W. Fond du Lac Ave.) from 3 – 7 p.m. A full list of participating restaurants can be found by visiting https://blankspacemke.weebly.com/. No coupons will be required and all restaurants will be offering their own specials in recognition of Black Restaurant Week. Supporters are also encouraged to share their experiences on social media with the hashtags #BlackEatsMKE and #MBRW2023.
