Café Corazón to Host Margaritas & Magic, a New 21+ After-Hours Show Filled with Laughter & Mind-Bending Magic on March 28

It’s no trick. Café Corazón has partnered with Diageo’s Tequila Don Julio and local illusionists Two Brothers One Mind to create Margaritas and Magic, a spicy adults-only, after-hours show filled with laughter, magic, and, of course, great margaritas.
The first Margaritas and Magic will be this Saturday, March 28, at 9:30 p.m. at the Café Corazón in Bay View (2394 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.). Tickets, which run $30 for general admission and $40, are available via this link.
Billed as the only mind-readers who can’t read your mind, just each other’s, Milwaukeeans and Actual Brothers Chad and Jeff Orr have traveled across North America performing as Two Brothers One Mind at corporate events, conventions, comedy clubs, colleges, casinos, fundraisers, and festivals. Their show is a spicy mix of magic, comedy, and improv with ample audience participation.
“Chad and Jeff are the perfect local performers to launch our all-new adults-only Margaritas and Magic after hours,” said Kelsey McGuire, the General Manager at Café Corazón Bay View. “They’re hilarious, and they pull off tricks that make you ask, ‘How the heck did they do that?’ It’s going to be a great night on the 28th. The Don Julio margaritas will be flowing, and attendees will be treated to a must-see show.”
Milwaukee: A Town with a Magical Past Up Its Sleeve
Unbeknownst to many locals, Milwaukee owns a long heritage of magic. Harry Houdini, the famed illusionist, developed his love of magic while living here as a child. Houdini practiced holding his breath (a skill later perfected for his famed water escapes) while swimming in the Milwaukee River. It is said he performed his very first trick – escaping from handcuffs – as a street performer on the 2nd Street and Wisconsin Avenue bridge. Today, March 24, would have been Houdini’s 152nd birthday.
“To be mentioned in the same breath as Harry Houdini is quite the honor,” said Chad Orr, the younger of the Two Brothers One Mind duo. “Like Houdini, we started out as street performers, and our hometown has really embraced us. Milwaukee is such a great magic town and combining our show with Don Julio margaritas at a local favorite like Café Corazón, we knew this idea was a winner the second we heard it. Margaritas and Magic tickets are already selling fast, and we’re expecting a sold-out show.”
Magical Margaritas, Shouts & Pours Featuring Tequila Don Julio
Café Corazón bartenders are teaming with Diageo mixologists to craft magic-themed margaritas made with Don Julio Blanco and Don Julio Reposado. Neat pours and flavorful shots featuring Don Julio Añejo, Don Julio 70th Cristalino, and Don Julio 1942 will also be offered. Additionally, after the show, the Orr brothers will join attendees at the Café Corazón bar for margaritas and perform some close-up magic.
