MILWAUKEE – Tonight, Peter Burgelis advances to the general election for 11th District Alderman. He will face Joshua Zepnick in the spring general election on April 2nd.

“Today, the people of the 11th District cast their votes for proven results,” said Burgelis. “They understand that to move our community forward, we need an advocate who understands our needs and can deliver for us in City Hall.”

“Since this campaign began, I have been talking to residents about how they want Milwaukee to grow and thrive. Listening to my neighbors at their homes and at community meetings, I heard repeatedly that we need a safer, reliable, and pothole-free community for all. That’s exactly what this campaign is about – delivering for the 11th District,” said Burgelis.

“The only way we can achieve these goals is to elect a leader who will listen to residents, approach the issues we face in a confident manner, and work hard to create long-term efficient solutions. That is the type of leader I have been as a County Supervisor and I will continue to be as the next 11th District Alderman.”

“Thank you to everyone who has helped our campaign get to this point. Whether you’ve knocked on doors, made calls, put up a yard sign, or contributed your hard earned dollars, I couldn’t have done this without you and I’m looking forward to your continued help to deliver a win in April. I love this city and together, we will make our community a better place where everyone can thrive,” Burgelis concluded.

The general election will be held on April 2, 2024. The 11th Aldermanic District includes neighborhoods in southwestern Milwaukee. Find a full map here.
