Bucks Take Over Milwaukee Ahead of First Round of 2019 Playoffs
Later on Friday morning, the Bucks and the city will unveil one of The Hop streetcars adorned with interior and exterior Bucks Playoff branding.
MILWAUKEE (April 10, 2019) – To celebrate the start of the NBA Playoffs, the Bucks are taking over Milwaukee with branding on the Water Street BMO Harris Bank office tower, one of The Hop streetcars, two downtown skywalks, and dyeing the Milwaukee River green.
Tomorrow, Thursday, BMO Harris Bank, the official bank of the Bucks, will light its 770 N. Water St. office tower with a “Fear the Deer” decal. The 18-story display, which will be installed on the west-facing windows, will remain lit through the first round of the Playoffs.
Next, Milwaukeeans can expect to find the Milwaukee River green starting on Friday morning. The Bucks worked closely with the Mayor’s office and the Department of Natural Resources to create this memorable sight.
Later on Friday morning, the Bucks and the city will unveil one of The Hop streetcars adorned with interior and exterior Bucks Playoff branding. Bango and the Bucks Entertainment Network will make surprise visits to businesses along The Hop’s route starting Friday and continue throughout the Playoffs. Mayor Tom Barrett and Bucks Senior Vice President Alex Lasry will welcome the streetcar’s debut by the Milwaukee Public Market in the Third Ward at approximately 11:50 a.m.
Additionally, the Bucks are wrapping two skybridges attached to the building at 100 E. Wisconsin Ave. with Playoff branding, one over Water Street and one over the Milwaukee River. The wraps will be installed by Friday.
The Bucks have extensive activities planned for the First Round of the Playoffs, including all-fan giveaways, watch parties on the plaza in front of Fiserv Forum and more. Extremely limited tickets are still available for First Round games and can be purchased by visiting www.bucks.com/playoffs.
