Bucks President Feigin goes “On the Issues” at Marquette Law
Feigin has decades of sports, corporate management and marketing experience, including a stint as vice president of marketing for the New York Knicks.
MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee Bucks team president Peter Feigin will be the featured guest in an upcoming “On the Issues with Mike Gousha,” Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. in Eckstein Hall, 1215 W. Michigan St.
Milwaukee’s NBA franchise has been undergoing a dramatic transition in the last year. Featuring one of the youngest rosters in the league, the Bucks surprised observers with a return to the playoffs. But much of the change has been off the court, where there is new ownership — and, after a sometimes-contentious debate, plans for a new downtown arena are moving forward. The team also is partnering with Marquette to establish a new athletic performance research center in downtown Milwaukee.
Feigin will be guiding the franchise through this key period in its history. He has decades of sports, corporate management and marketing experience, including a stint as vice president of marketing for the New York Knicks. With a new season just beginning, Feigin will discuss the arena deal, the Bucks’ vision for downtown, the team’s effort to create new community partnerships and what it takes to achieve success in one of the NBA’s smallest markets.
Seating is available, although registration is required and is available online. For those who can’t attend in person, a “watch now” button on the registration page will provide access to a live video stream.
