Milwaukee, WI (June 2014) – The Brady Street Business Improvement District (BID #11) is excited to again host the Brady Street Festival Saturday, July 26th from 11 a.m. – midnight. The Festival takes place on Brady Street from Van Buren to Farwell Avenue.

The event will feature a cheese tent sponsored by the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board offering samples from more than 40 Wisconsin cheese makers. There will be a wide variety of vendors selling pottery, jewelry and an abundance of delicious fare from Brady Street restaurants.

This year’s music and entertainment line up emphasizes local and regional acts and is being coordinated by Danielle Hanson from the Eastside Music Tour. “I am looking forward to Celebrated Workingman’s reunion show headlining the Humboldt stage sponsored by Gruber Law Offices, Ryan Holman’s MC comedy sets, Grace Weber headlining the East Side Vibes Stage, and Webster X on the Bud Light Main Stage sponsored by Knight Barry Title.”  The music cuts across many genres providing an awesome experience for everyone.

The Glorioso’s Entertainment Stage, sponsored by the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, will also be packed with interactive entertainment including a cheese curd eating contest, pizza making contest, and mozzarella making. The Casablanca pro-wrestling ring, Division BMX, and the CFSC Bounce house round out this free family-friendly event.  “This Festival continues to capture the history and feeling of Brady Street past while simultaneously drawing in new generations. That our merchants care enough about this event to commemorate it every summer is a real tribute to the amazing energy of Brady Street,” said Steph Salvia, Brady Street BID Executive Director.

The Brady Street Festival is sponsored by Bud Light, Fat Tire, Sprecher, Lagunitas, Monster, Knight Barry Title, Community Financial Service Centers, Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, Gruber Law Offices, Casablanca, Dierks Waukesha, Eagle Disposal, Uber and Jimmy Johns, with support from official media partners OnMilwaukee.com and 88Nine Radio Milwaukee.
