Brady Street Festival Announces 2024 Entertainment Lineup

Milwaukee, WI – The Brady Street Business Improvement District (BID #11) will host the Brady Street Festival Saturday, July 20, 12pm to 11pm. The annual festival takes place on Brady Street from Van Buren Street to Farwell Avenue. Brady Street Fest is back and better than ever this year, with an incredible lineup of bands set to take the stage on July 20th. In between performances, there will be a wide variety of all- local food to enjoy, a large selection of beverages on hand, and abundance of local retail vendor booths to browse.

Headlining
“I am thrilled to be a part of such a historic, Milwaukee festival and to finally announce this year’s entertainment lineup! 2024’s Brady Street festival features a wide and diverse range of up and coming Wisconsin talent with a mixture of names you will recognize, as well as a fresh group of talent that you won’t forget!” – Sam Brunelli, the new Entertainment Director for the Brady Street Fest!

This year’s headliners include the born and raised in Wisconsin band, Social Cig. Bringing their contagious authenticity, cheery live show, sticky lyrics while cultivating an original story with attitude and gratitude to the Bud Light stage at 9:00pm, performance sponsored by The Pabst Theater Group. Wonderful Bluffer is a 5 piece rock band formed in Milwaukee. Their pounding drums, bone crushing bass, thundering guitar, roaring vocals and soulful keys will be taking to the North Shore Bank at 9:30pm. Brady Street’s annual Brady Street Babes drag show, one of Milwaukee’s most iconic live drag shows, will feature a variety of Wisconsin’s most iconic and favorite performers closing out the festival with a bang at 9:30, performance sponsored by High Crowd Cafe, on the Don Julio and Bacardi stage.

Early Day
Start the day off right! At noon in the center of Brady, partake in Dog Yoga at the North Shore Bank stage. School of Rock will start things off on the East Stage at noon and another great addition is the Bee the Change project kids pollinator parade. They are a residency program part of the Cass Street school and St. Rita Square and will be kicking off the festival on the Don Julio and Bacardi stage followed by True Skool. The Adventure Rock Wall is back and part of the fun zone, presented by Gruber Law Offices.

Afternoon/Evening
Throughout the day, enjoy a stroll around the historic street and take in a diverse and altogether impressive blend of Milwaukee’s finest bands. Don’t miss the powerful vocals of Allison Mahal or Alyssia Dominguez who is bringing a new flair to country infusing a touch of her hispanic roots or the indie soul of Ben Mulwana. Valley Fox brings their fresh take on modern folk while Louie and the Flashbombs blend a 1970’s New York City rock with a knack for hooky alternative pop. The good timing alternative country band Ladybird, a fixture of the Indie scene Lunde and, with a voice that fills the room, Billy Bronsted will highlight the diverse music scene of Milwaukee. More exciting acts like Emmitt James, a Midwest bred and now an LA- based hip hop artist, Modern Joey who will bring a high energy show or Wire and Nail who are equal parts Honky Tonk and Rock n Roll will showcase the excellence in entertainment at our festival. Adding to the flair, we are delighted to announce the following acts: one of Milwaukee’s favorite hip hop artists- Dave Chapelle, the classic jam-rock band- Modern Joey, the old school punk sounds of Jinksie and the Nashville-based indie band, that has genre-bending arrangements and powerful vocals, The Love-In complete the infections blend of music for the 2024 Brady Street Festival.
