“Brady Beach Street Activation Reopening”

Club Brady and the Nomad World Pub are Planning a Party on Sunday, May 28th

By - May 24th, 2023 11:45 am

Milwaukee— 5/24/23 The “Brady Beach” street activation is set to reopen for its fourth summer season in time for the Memorial Day Weekend with outdoor dining and a summer kickoff event.  The popular pilot program for activated streets started in 2020 in a partnership with the two adjacent taverns and the City of Milwaukee.

“We are excited to be able to bring back our transformational use of public space to create a vacation destination vibe with plenty of street seating in a peaceful, leafy setting,” said Mike Eitel, Nomad’s owner.  “The impact on this neighborhood is amazing as it immediately increases public safety by calming traffic and allows for a relaxing outdoor space right smack in the middle of the hustle and bustle.” Eitel continued, “we are thankful for the great support from our Alderman, the Mayor, and the City of Milwaukee along with incredibly positive feedback from neighbors, businesses, and the Brady Street BID.”

A Summer Celebration Sunday, May 28th

The beach will reopen daily to guests seeking outdoor refuge starting Friday, May 26th  at 3pm through the autumn months. A “Summer Kickoff Celebration” featuring DJ Buttersauce, food and drink specials, street tacos, and a tequila tasting starts at 3pm on Sunday and wraps up at 10pm.
