Black Church Action Fund / Black Church Partners Announces Convention-Related Events
MILWAUKEE – The Black Church Action Fund today announced a series of events during the Democratic National Convention. The group has pledged to register, educate and moblize 1 million faith voters in key states including like FL, GA, WI, MI, PA, OH and NV . The line up of events includes a screening of a forthcoming docu-series, “Prophesy or Perish: Reclaiming Our Collective Strength,” on Tuesday, Aug. 18 from 1 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. US Senate Candidate Raphael Warnock will join as a special guest respondent. Other guests throughout the week include: NBA Coach Steve Kerr, US Congresswoman Lucy McBath, former DNC CEO Leah Daughtry, Bishop Frank Reid, Pastor Jamal Bryant, Pastor Traci Blackmon, NFL Hall of Famer Michael Irvin, Artist Hank Willis Thomas, Emmy Award Winning Journalist Suzy Shuster and many more.
