Be The Different NIL Announces Pledge-Per-Three Initiative
Supporters asked to make commitment for each men's & women's made 3-pointer
Aligned with the excitement surrounding the start of the basketball season, Be the Difference NIL, the exclusive NIL collective supporting Marquette student-athletes, announced a “Pledge-Per-Three” initiative for the upcoming season. Supporters of the Golden Eagles are encouraged to consider making a commitment for each men’s or women’s basketball made three-point basket in the 2024-25 campaign in support of NIL.
“At Be the Difference NIL, we remain committed to ensuring Marquette student-athletes are presented with top NIL opportunities,” said Travis Diener ’05, Executive Director of the collective. “There is much anticipation for Marquette in the upcoming season, and I encourage those invested in the success of our basketball programs to join this initiative.”
“As we enter the third year of student-athletes having the ability to earn compensation for their name, image, and likeness, support of NIL has become critical for college basketball programs that wish to sustain competitive excellence at the highest levels,” said Vice President and Director of Athletics Bill Scholl. “Relationships are foundational to our success here at Marquette, and we are grateful for those who have made an impact through their support of Be The Difference NIL.”
In recognition of their support, all participants that join in the pledge-per-three initiative will receive a 2024-25 schedule poster signed by select members of the 2024-25 Marquette men’s and women’s basketball teams.
