Arrest Made in Johnsons Park Homicide

Milwaukee, WI  (June 10, 2021) This morning, the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the United States Marshals Service and the Greenfield Police Department, arrested a suspect in the recent Johnsons Park homicide.

The suspect was booked into the Milwaukee County Jail on the following charges:

  • 1st Deg Intentional Homicide
  • Theft From Person or Corpse
  • Manufacture/Deliver/Distribute Cocaine (5-15 grams)
  • Felon in Possession of Firearm

Milwaukee County Sheriff Earnell Lucas hailed the investigative effort as thorough, decisive, and timely.

“I commend the work and dedication of the members of the MCSO Investigative Services and Police Services bureaus, who worked diligently in responding to the scene at Johnsons Park and following up on leads to bring swift closure to this in broad daylight, cold blooded killing,” Lucas said. “It’s this kind of dedicated, team effort and professionalism that represent the best of local law enforcement. And on behalf of all of MCSO, the family of the victim, and Milwaukee County residents, thank you to the deputies, officers, and agents who made this effort successful.”
