Annual Fall Perennial Exchange Returns Saturday
13th District Alderman Scott Spiker is pleased to share that the Garden District’s Fall Perennial Exchange is set for this Saturday – October 5 from 10 a.m. to noon at 6th and Norwich (one block south of 6th and Howard). Those looking to thin their perennials are encouraged to mark their plant’s name, height, and color. Other gardening related goodies such as bulbs, seeds, tools, and decorative items are also encouraged to be brought to the event. The event is free and open to the public.
“The perennial exchange is always a wonderful opportunity for gardening experts and beginners alike to come together and connect over a shared interest that also contributes to beatification of the neighborhood,” said Alderman Spiker. “I greatly appreciate the Garden District Neighborhood Association and their volunteers who put on this event biannually to support the community, and I encourage those in the district and throughout the city to stop by the event this Saturday.”What: Fall Perennial Exchange
