Alpine Echoes to Perform at Waelderhaus on June

May 10, 2018 – Kohler, Wis. – Arts at the Waelderhaus welcomes the Alpine Echoes on Sunday, June 10 at 2:00 p.m. The group of eight players from Portage, Ind. will perform on alphorns.
The alphorn or alpine horn is a long wooden wind instrument still being used by mountain dwellers in the Swiss Alps, Austrian Alps, Bavarian Alps in Germany, French Alps, and elsewhere. The Alpine Echoes perform throughout the Midwest. On Sunday, they will fill the great hall or Saal of the Waelderhaus, with classic music of Bavaria and Scandinavia.

The Waelderhaus is managed by Kohler Foundation and offers unique cultural events throughout the year. It’s located at 1100 W. Riverside Dr., Kohler, and is open daily (except holidays) to the public for guided tours free of charge at 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m.
