BARRON, Wis. – Attorney General Josh Kaul issued the following statement following the sentencing of the man convicted of kidnapping Jayme Closs and murdering James and Denise Closs:
“The defendant in this case received the appropriate sentence: life imprisonment. Thank you to the Closs family, law enforcement, prosecutors, victim services, and the members of the Barron County community who worked to bring closure and justice to this case.”
