6th District Landscape Awards deadline fast approaching
Nominations for the 2020 6th District Landscape Awards are due one week from today (Friday, September 25th), and Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs encourages residents to nominate themselves or a neighbor for having the very best in landscaping in the 6th Aldermanic District.
Special recognition for outstanding residential garden or landscaping efforts is sought for properties that are especially eye-catching or well-landscaped.
Alderwoman Coggs has long been committed to consistently supporting and encouraging the beautification and improvement of neighborhoods, and the 6th District Landscape Awards are a part of her Clean City Project.
“I am a strong believer that the visual appeal of a neighborhood can impact the quality of life of its residents, and it is an honor to be able to recognize those who go above and beyond when it comes to landscaping and gardening,” she said.
Nominees’ names and addresses can be emailed to email@example.com for consideration, and supporting digital photos are also requested.
Again, a reminder that nominations are due by the close of business on Friday, September 25th.
