5th Street Fest Returns For Second Year of Walker’s Point Celebration

Milwaukee, WI —The festival season carries on in Milwaukee with the second year of 5th Street Fest on Saturday, September 22, celebrating the vibrant and diverse Walker’s Point neighborhood with music, food, dance, art and much more.
Hosted by the Walker’s Point Association, the fest takes place from Hamburger Mary’s on National Avenue to Mobcraft on Virginia Street, anchored by two stages showcasing live music and demonstrations all day.
Starting off with Yoga and Zumba on the North Stage, the performances continue until the Hamburger Mary’s Drag Show at 9:15pm on the South Stage. In between, you’ll catch all sorts of entertainment from Latin to jazz music, the Milwaukee Ballet, and sets by Evan Christian, True Skool Band, New Age Narcissism and Santana tribute band Abraxes. DJs including Kenny Perez and DJ Shawna will be on hand in the Dance Tent to keep the music flowing throughout the event.
