12th Annual Housing Resource Fair POSTPONED for 11/19 – now set for Saturday, December 10th

The 12^th Annual Housing Resource Fair event – scheduled originally for Saturday, November 19 but then POSTPONED – will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10 at North Division High School, 1011 W. Center St. 

Hosts Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs and Alderman Russell W. Stamper, II are inviting residents to explore this multifaceted annual event that provides residents with information on home financing, home repairs and foreclosure prevention from a variety of organizations.

The 12^th Annual Housing Resource Fair will feature several workshops, including Home Buyer Readiness – Prepare for Success at 10:30 a.m., Home Repair – Resources and Helpful Tips for Selecting a Contractor at 11:30 a.m., and Homes for Sale – Searching for a Home and New Opportunities for Home Ownership at 1:00 p.m. Throughout the day there will also be free giveaways of donated items.

Sponsors for the event include Alderwoman Coggs, Alderman Stamper, the Neighborhood Improvement Development Corporation (NIDC), the City of Milwaukee, and WestCare Wisconsin.
