The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is closing Greenfield Avenue this Thursday, July 25th, for 12 hours starting at 7 a.m. and ending by 7 p.m. The closure will be from 84th Street out to 92nd Street. Crews will be completing paving operations which will involve milling and asphalt paving. Curb ramp upgrades and some storm sewer repair work will also take place during this closure. Delays are expected, and motorists are being asked to select an alternate route. The expedited schedule is being used to avoid any project overlap with the beginning of the State Fair.

The suggested detour route will use Schlinger Avenue and Lapham Street.
