Versiti Organ and Tissue, in partnership with the National Kidney Foundation and the Cream City Chapter of the Links, Inc., will host this year’s KidneyCARE for Community Day on Thursday, April 16 starting at 4 p.m. at ThriveOn King.

KidneyCARE for Community Day is meant to address chronic kidney disease on a local level by providing education on kidney disease, kidney screenings, blood typing, community-led Q&A, and free resources for a healthier lifestyle.

Attendees can maximize their time at the event by taking a quick and easy kidney screening to check their kidney health. Topics covered will include kidney care best practices, chronic kidney disease and diabetes, the journey of dialysis to transplant, and how to still enjoy dining out with kidney disease. KidneyCARE for community day is a free event and open to members of the public who are interested in learning more about kidney health. Anyone interested in attending can register at Eventbrite.
