The Prometheus Trio and Philomusica will join forces to present a benefit concert for Vieques Island, Puerto Rico. The program will include Mendelssohn String Quartet in F Minor, Op. 80, Brahms Piano Trio in C Major, Op. 87, and tangos. All free will donations will go to the nonprofit foundation, Vieques Love, which is helping the people of Vieques Island with aid, supplies, and rebuilding for a sustainable future following the devastation of hurricane Maria. Vieques is a small island of 9000 people near the main island of Puerto Rico.
