There are several modern transit opportunities at critical milestones, and also a reality that our local transit systems may be cut back severely in the next couple of years under the current antiquated structure. With so much at stake, here’s an opportunity for members of the arts and culture community to be at the table, to be informed and active as these initiatives develop and possibly advance. Greater Milwaukee Tour de Cure
Event Details Tour de Cure is a fundraising event for the American Diabetes Association. Tour de Cure is a ride not a race so it is perfect for all ages and skill levels. There are four different routes (Family Fun Ride, 25K, 50K, and 100K) that all take advantage of the beautiful Ozaukee Interurban Trail and great Wisconsin scenery. All riders are greeted by cheering volunteers, food and fun at the end of the ride. Committee on Economic and Community Development
The Milwaukee County Committee on Economic & Community Development oversees the administration of federal, state and local housing programs in the county, including the Urban Community Development Block Grant Program. Matters pertaining to economic development of Milwaukee County, including the best disposition of county properties, are decided by this Committee.
