A Forgotten Classic
An unusual instrument is the highlight of Early Music Now’s March 1st concert at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. The baryton, popular in the 18th century but rarely played today, will be featured in trios composed by Franz Josef Haydn. The program also includes contemporary works that welcome the baryton into the 21st century.
