Former downtown hotel acquired by Marquette University affiliate in July 2015 for $3.8 million. The hotel marked the final acquisition in a series of purchases to acquire a sizable chunk of land south of W. Michigan St.

The hotel closed in 2018. Bear Development acquired the property in 2022 for $2.25 million as part of its plans to develop the Iron District complex.
