The Pettibone Mansion is a mansion converted into offices in Milwaukee’s Avenues West neighborhood.
In May of 2015 the mansion was acquired by R2 Cos for $720,000. It was previously owned by Marna Boyle through Marna’s Mansion LLC since 1998. A listing for the home had an asking price of $998,000.
According to a statement from R2 Cos. on the acquisition…
Immediately, we plan to operate the Pettibone Mansion as a truly unique office complex and execute significant improvements to the parking lot, making it more accessible to students and local residents. Longer term, we will work closely with the alderman and the community to create a development plan for the site. We love the Pettibone Mansion and plan to develop the site to complement its historic character.
The mansion houses the law offices of Boyle, Boyle, Boyle S.C., run by Marna’s husband Gerald.
An two-story addition was added to the rear of the house in 1965. A $220,000 restoration of the home was completed in 2005.
The lot includes 68 parking spaces as of 2015.
The Boyle Law Group website claims that the home is what “local historians believe to be the oldest private residence on Wisconsin Avenue.”
