Make Art MKE returns to Mount Mary University this Sunday
5th District Alderman Lamont Westmoreland invites community members to attend the Make Art MKE event this Sunday, September 13, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The event will take place at Mount Mary University, 2900 Menomonee River Pkwy.
“Make Art MKE blends a fun and lively atmosphere with a collection of more than one hundred artists and makers who offer attendees a wide variety of fine art, handcrafted goods, and other curated products. I hope residents take advantage of this offering and support our local maker community at this weekend’s event,” said Alderman Westmoreland.
Held each year on the Sunday after Labor Day, Make Art MKE continues a Milwaukee tradition spanning more than five decades. The event showcases more than 175 artists, offering attendees a dynamic mix of fine art, handcrafted work, and high-quality curated products in a welcoming outdoor setting. With its blend of tradition, inspiration, and community spirit, Make Art MKE offers a memorable experience for seasoned collectors, casual visitors, and anyone looking to enjoy a day surrounded by art.
