Milwaukee Police Investigate Non-Fatal Shooting; 18-Year-Old in Custody
Milwaukee Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Wednesday, August 19th , 2026, at approximately 12:28 a.m., on the 2400 block of West Auer Avenue. The victim, a 28-year-old sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was conveyed to a local hospital for treatment. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. An 18-year-old subject was taken into custody regarding this incident, and the investigation is ongoing. Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
