Ssdc Files Lawsuit Challenging Magadance Skinner’s Eligibility to Hold Elected Office in Wisconsin
MADISON, WI – In response to recent reports detailing Michele Magadance Skinner‘s tax fraud in Georgia and Wisconsin, and voting in both states the State Senate Democratic Committee has filed a lawsuit in Circuit Court, seeking a court order stating the Eau Claire County Board Member and Republican candidate for State Senate is ineligible to appear on the ballot in November and disqualified from holding her current elected office in Wisconsin.
David P. Hollander, an attorney who represents the plaintiff, stated in the lawsuit:
“Because Skinner is not a Wisconsin resident and is therefore constitutionally ineligible for office, Plaintiffs seek an order directing WEC not to certify Skinner as a candidate for placement on the November 2026 general election ballot. Likewise, because she is not a Wisconsin resident, the Court should remove Skinner from seat on the Eau Claire County Board.”
SSDC Communications Director Will Karcz on the lawsuit stating Magadance Skinner’s ineligibility for elected office:
“The facts of these lawsuits are straightforward. Georgia resident Michele Magadance Skinner conned taxpayers in Wisconsin by claiming dual residency in two states and committed voter fraud while doing it. Her actions are legally disqualifying — both to appear on the November ballot and to hold current office on the Eau Claire County Board. Wisconsinites are tired of corrupt politicians gaming the system and getting away with it.”
