David Crowley Announces Raising Over $1.5 Million in First 24 Hours of the Campaign
MILWAUKEE, Wis.—Today, Democratic gubernatorial nominee David Crowley released the following statement after raising over $1.5 million in the first 24 hours of the campaign:
“I am humbled by this level of support so early in our general election campaign. Despite an affordability crisis caused by MAGA extremist congressman Tom Tiffany backing Donald Trump‘s cost-raising agenda 100% of the time, thousands of Wisconsinites from every corner of this state dug deep to contribute to our fight to move Wisconsin forward. These personal sacrifices to power our campaign show just how the stakes are in this election, and they will be the reason we win in November.”
David Crowley is the Milwaukee County Executive and the first African American and youngest person elected to that office. Raised in Milwaukee in a union household, David has balanced billion-dollar budgets, delivered the largest property tax cut in county history, cut opioid overdose deaths in half, and added over 1,000 units of affordable housing in six years, including in suburban communities for the first time. He has won every race for the Wisconsin State Legislature and Milwaukee County Executive.
