Milwaukee Police Investigate Double Shooting; Suspect in Custody
Milwaukee Police are investigating a double shooting that occurred on Saturday, August 01, 2026, at approximately 8:20 p.m., on the 4500 block of W. Melvina St. The first victim, a 37-year-old and a second victim, a 25-year-old, sustained non-fatal gunshot wounds and were conveyed to a local hospital for treatment. Milwaukee Police have a 36-year-old suspect in custody. This investigation is ongoing. Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
