Fatal Collision on Milwaukee’s Historic Mitchell Street Claims Life of 73-Year-Old Pedestrian
Milwaukee Police are investigating a crash that occurred on Monday, July 27, 2026, at approximately 11:35 p.m., on the 1100 block of W. Historic Mitchell Street. A vehicle was traveling westbound on West Historic Mitchell Street and collided with a pedestrian, who was in the street. The 73 year old pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. This investigation is ongoing.
