Coverage Roundup: Tom Tiffany’s Hypocrisy on Antisemitism Is Exposed

New reporting has put scrutiny on Wisconsin Republican gubernatorial nominee Tom Tiffany for appearing on a podcast hosted by Jeremy Hambly — a figure with a documented history of antisemitic rhetoric, Holocaust jokes, and extremist ties. While Tiffany has attempted to frame himself as a mainstream candidate, his decision to join Hambly on “The Quartering” podcast and welcome his campaign support has turned the spotlight on his own judgment and the extremist company he keeps.

The reporting comes as Tiffany has spent weeks attacking a Democratic candidate over appearing on a podcast with Hasan Piker — making accusations about antisemitism, while he himself appeared on a podcast rife with antisemitic rhetoric.

What began as local reporting has now expanded to national Jewish media, raising new questions about why Tiffany welcomed support from a figure known for defending a “Camp Auschwitz” T-shirt as “dark humor,” making light of the Holocaust, and saying Adolf Hitler had “actually done some good things.”

The scrutiny surrounding Tiffany’s appearance did not begin this month. In January, reports surfaced on Tiffany’s appearance on Jeremy Hambly’s podcast, including Hambly’s offer to campaign for Tiffany alongside Stop the Steal activist Scott Presler.
