The Green Bay Packers have signed LB Isaiah McDuffie to a contract extension. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transaction Monday.

McDuffie (6-1, 227), a sixth-year player out of Boston College, was originally selected by the Packers in the sixth round (No. 220 overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft. He has played in 80 regular-season games for Green Bay with 38 starts, recording 286 tackles (155 solo), 11 tackles for a loss, two sacks, nine QB hits, an interception, five passes defensed and a forced fumble. McDuffie has also contributed on special teams, registering a team-high 34 tackles and a fumble recovery. He is one of only two players in the league (Texans LB E.J. Speed) to appear in 80-plus games and register 275-plus tackles on defense (286) and 30-plus tackles on special teams (34) since 2021. McDuffie has played in five postseason contests, starting two and has posted 14 tackles (eight solo), a half-sack, two QB hits and seven tackles on special teams.
