Milwaukee Bucks Sign Nate Ament

MILWAUKEE (July 9, 2026) – The Milwaukee Bucks have signed Nate Ament.

The 13th overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, Ament played and started in 35 games last season as freshman with Tennessee, averaging 16.7 points (15th in SEC), a team-high-tying 6.3 rebounds (14th in SEC), 2.3 assists and 1.0 steal in 29.7 minutes per game. The 6-10, 211-pound forward amassed 584 total points, the third-most by a freshman in Tennessee history and the 12th-most in the SEC, and earned 2025-26 SEC All-Freshman Team and All-SEC Second Team honors.

A native of Manassas, Virginia, Ament started in all four games in Tennessee’s Elite Eight bid in the 2026 NCAA Tournament, where he averaged 10.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 25.8 minutes per game. The 19-year-old received 2025-26 Naismith Trophy Late Season Team honors and was named a finalist for the 2025-26 Julius Erving Small Forward of the Year award. Prior to his college career, Ament was selected as a 2024-25 McDonald’s High School All-American and won a gold medal at the 2024 FIBA U18 AmeriCup with USA Basketball.
