‘Let’s Ride’: Roys Showcases Vision for Wisconsin, Preparation for the Moment in New Ad
The half-million dollar ad buy will target Democratic primary voters statewide as they begin to pay attention to the August 11 election
MADISON – State Sen. Kelda Roys announced today that her campaign is making its first half-million dollar statewide ad buy targeting Democratic Primary voters touting her accomplishments expanding BadgerCare to 80,000 new Wisconsinites, and her plans to hold the Trump regime accountable, open the state health insurance plan, and fully fund public schools.
The plan includes 8 full weeks targeting Democratic Primary voters statewide based on robust polling and research identifying Roys’ target voters, no matter what they’re watching or where they’re watching it.
“As governor, I will address the bread-and-butter issues everyday Wisconsinites care about – public schools, healthcare costs, and economic security,” Sen. Roys said. “We need a candidate who can connect with voters in every part of the state, and bridge the divides that have cost us close elections in the past.
“For over 20 years, I have been fighting for Wisconsin to be a place where everyone has the freedom to thrive – and delivering. Together, we can build the future we deserve.”
While other campaigns are going on the air and then off the air in a futile attempt to game the Marquette Poll, the Roys plan is strategically starting communication just as voters are starting to pay attention to the race and are able to sustain and grow our buy between now and Election Day
“This ad showcases Kelda’s accomplishments and demonstrates that Wisconsinites can count on her to use the power of government to make our lives better,” said Jasper Bernstein, campaign manager. “While other candidates have bullet points on a website, Kelda has detailed plans that will deliver higher wages, lower costs, and more freedom for all Wisconsinites.”
