Olde Madrid Partners with Racine Farmers Market for 2026 Season

The Racine Farmers Market is excited to announce a new partnership with Olde Madrid for the 2026 market season.
The Racine Farmers Market features more than 60 food-related farmers and vendors every Saturday throughout its 24-week season, creating a vibrant weekly destination for shoppers seeking fresh products, quality ingredients, and a strong sense of community.
From locally grown produce and farm-fresh meats to baked goods, specialty foods, and handcrafted items, the market continues to attract customers who value supporting local farmers and small businesses.
“Teaching people how to prepare meals using fresh, in-season local ingredients has always been one of the goals of the market,” explained Dawn Carrillo, Racine Farmers Market Manager. “Being able to partner with my friend Manny from Olde Madrid is a wonderful opportunity to bring that experience to the community in a fun and interactive way.”
Beginning in June, every second Saturday of the month, Chef Manny Salinas of Olde Madrid will shop directly from market vendors, prepare a featured dish using market ingredients, and offer samples during the market. The featured dish will also be available that week at the restaurant for customers who want to enjoy the full dining experience.
The first Dockside Demo will take place June 13 at 10:30 a.m. on the grass at Festival Park. The event complements a full day of activities at the market including goat yoga, live music from Acoustic Horizon, and Harbor Fest festivities later that evening.
Thanks to sponsorship support from Martin Law Office, these demonstrations will be provided free to the community.
Through this partnership, Olde Madrid will become closely connected with the market while helping support the market’s 2026 goals of expanding awareness, increasing community engagement, and promoting locally sourced food experiences.

I’m really excited to create something new with the farmers!”
The Racine Farmers Market takes place every Saturday through October in downtown Racine at Festival Park. Dockside Demo featuring chef/owner Manny Salinas will be the 2nd Saturday of the month: June 13, July 11, Aug 8, Sept 5 (first Saturday), Oct 10.
