Caught in a Lie: Derrick Van Orden Claims Medicaid Hasn’t Been Cut Despite Medicaid Being Cut by $1 Trillion in OBBB

MADISON, Wis. — Derrick Van Orden is lying through his teeth, knowingly and falsely claiming that there have not been cuts to Medicaid, despite him and the entire GOP delegation voting for the OBBB, which cut $1 trillion from the program.

“Derrick Van Orden thinks so little of his constituents he’s willing to tell the most blatant lie imaginable,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Philip Shulman. “He is lying because he knows after this vote, his record as a failed business man, and being the most thin skinned Congressman in DC, his reelection prospects get worse every day.”
