Milwaukee Police Seek Suspects in Early Morning Non-Fatal Shooting on N. 40th Street

Milwaukee Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026, at approximately 5:18 a.m., on the 2000 block of N. 40th Street. The 40-year-old victim was transported to a hospital for treatment. The circumstances that led up to the shooting are under investigation. Milwaukee Police continue to seek unknown suspects.
