Public Comment Tool Opened for Communication File on Ongoing Flooding Concerns
Milwaukee residents will be able to offer their input into the serious flooding issues that have repeatedly impacted city neighborhoods and roadways when E-comments are turned on related to Common Council File #252210 — a communication file authored by Alderwoman Andrea M. Pratt which will be heard by the Public Works Committee on Wednesday, April 29.
In the wake of localized flooding that occurred in many areas of the city earlier this month, Alderwoman Pratt introduced a communication file to discuss the topic and to look for possible solutions, in consultation with officials from the Department of Public Works and the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District.
Residents are also invited to follow along with the Public Works Committee meeting, which will include officials from DPW and MMSD. The committee hearing will begin at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday in Room 301-B at City Hall. The meeting will be streamed live on the City Channel (channel 25 on Spectrum Cable and channel 99 on AT&T U-Verse in the City of Milwaukee) and via streaming video on the city website at city.milwaukee.gov/Channel25.
As this is a communication file from city departments, public comment will not be taken during the meeting. However, those wanting to share their thoughts may do so electronically via the e-comment system here.
