Congresswoman Gwen Moore Backs Dan Bukiewicz for Assembly, Calls Him the Fighter Working Families Need
OAK CREEK, Wis. – Today, Congresswoman Gwen Moore (WI-04) announced her endorsement of Dan Bukiewicz for the Wisconsin 21st Assembly District, calling him the bold, experienced voice working families need in Madison.
“I am proud to endorse Dan Bukiewicz for the Wisconsin State Assembly,” said Congresswoman Moore. “Dan has spent his entire career fighting for working people, from his early days as an apprentice electrician to negotiating billions of dollars in Project Labor Agreements that deliver good wages and real opportunities for local workers. That is exactly the kind of fighter we need representing the 21st District.”
“In his role as Mayor of Oak Creek, I have worked alongside Dan and seen firsthand his commitment to keeping our communities strong, from maintaining quality schools and expanding economic opportunity to keeping property taxes low for families already stretched thin,” Moore continued. “Dan understands that rising costs are not just a statistic. They are a kitchen table reality for working families across Oak Creek, Milwaukee, and Greenfield. I encourage voters in the 21st Assembly District to cast their vote for Dan Bukiewicz this primary. It is time to send a proven leader to Madison.”
“I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of Congresswoman Gwen Moore,” said Bukiewicz. “Congresswoman Moore has spent her career standing up for working people and fighting to make sure every family has a fair shot. That is exactly what drives me every day, whether I am at the bargaining table, in the mayor’s office, or talking with residents across Oak Creek, Milwaukee, and Greenfield. Working families deserve a strong voice in Madison and I intend to be that voice.”
