AG Kaul Issues Statement Following Senate Passage of Internet Crimes Against Children Bills
MADISON, Wis. – Attorney General Josh Kaul is issuing the following statement after the Wisconsin Senate passed legislation (Assembly Bills 957, 958, and 964) today supporting the Wisconsin Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, including providing additional staffing to help investigate online child exploitation cases.
“The Wisconsin ICAC Task Force does critical work to investigate online crimes against kids and support victims,” said AG Kaul. “Investing in this work helps with protecting kids online and holding offenders accountable. Thank you to Senator James, Representative Brill, and Representative Dittrich for their legislation supporting efforts to combat internet crimes against children.”
