Nominations Open for the 27th Annual MANDI Awards

 

MILWAUKEE (March 16, 2026) – Nominations are now open for the 27th Annual Milwaukee Awards for Neighborhood Development Innovation (MANDIs), recognizing outstanding individuals, organizations, and projects working to strengthen Milwaukee neighborhoods.

Produced by Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC Milwaukee) and presented by U.S. Bank, the MANDIs highlight innovative efforts that improve quality of life, expand opportunity, and drive community development across the city.

Community members are encouraged to nominate leaders, organizations, and projects making a meaningful difference in Milwaukee neighborhoods. To nominate a deserving individual or organization, visit www.mandiawards.org. Nominations are open through Thursday, April 16, 2026.

Finalists will be selected by an independent, cross-sector volunteer committee. Winners will be announced at the 27th Annual MANDI Awards celebration on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Potawatomi Casino Hotel.

  • Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment Community Health Award
  • Associated Bank Trailblazer Award
  • BMO Cornerstone Award
  • Brewers Community Foundation Public Space Award
  • Husch Blackwell Building Blocks Award
  • JPMorganChase Economic Development Award
  • Navigator Award

Each MANDI Award winner receives $1,000 for their organization in addition to the recognition.

Finalists will be announced in spring 2026. The public will also have an opportunity to vote online for the Wells Fargo People’s Choice Award.
