Due to the severe weather conditions caused by the ongoing winter storm, several Wisconsin DMV customer service centers are closed today, Monday, March 16, 2026.

Here is a current list of the Wisconsin DMV customer service centers closed today due to weather. This link will be updated throughout the day to reflect any future closures that may occur due to conditions created by the winter storm.

DMV staff are working to contact customers who have road tests and scheduled appointments to reschedule.

Most DMV services can be accessed online through Wisconsin DMV’s online services portal, by mail, or done with a third party.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) urges Wisconsinites to stay safe during this winter storm and limit travel in impacted areas to emergencies only. 511wi.gov and the 511WI mobile app are great resources to know current road conditions, road closures, traffic incidents and traffic camera views.
