Milwaukee Police Arrest Armed Teen After Gas Station Standoff, No Injuries Reported

Milwaukee Police responded to a report of a subject with a weapon on March 12, 2026, at approximately 12:26 a.m., on the 7600 block of W. Capitol Dr. Upon arrival the 17-year-old male subject retreated into a gas station and barricaded himself. After some time the subject came out of the gas station and postured as if he had a weapon by shifting his arm in and out of his front waistline area. An officer fired one shot in the direction of the subject however did not strike the subject. The suspect was taken into custody without further incident.

Charges will be reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
