Evers Administration to Celebrate Womens History Month With Cabinet Panel Series
Events in Green Bay and Milwaukee to Highlight Future of Wisconsin’s Economy, Workforce, and Thriving Communities
Green Bay and Milwaukee, Wis. – Kicking off a celebration of Women’s History Month, members of Governor Evers’ majority-woman cabinet will be holding two upcoming panel discussions highlighting key topics and ongoing initiatives in support of Wisconsin economy, workforce, and thriving communities. The events will feature DOA Secretary Kathy Blumenfeld, representatives from other state agencies, and will be moderated by Jeanne Duffy, Wisconsin Women’s Council Executive Director, highlighting the impact of Governor Evers’ investments and focus on family-supporting jobs, and policies that ensure Wisconsin’s economy works for everyone.
“The future of Wisconsin is tied firmly to the future of women in this state,” said DOA Secretary Blumenfeld. “As we celebrate the Year of the Neighbor and Women’s History Month, we honor the legacy and resolve of Wisconsin women and what’s possible when women have a seat at the table. We look forward to engaging in these important conversations around what the future of Wisconsin’s economy, workforce, and thriving communities can look like.”

- Wisconsin Department of Transportation Secretary Kristina Boardman
- Wisconsin Department of Tourism Secretary Anne Sayers, and
- Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development Secretary Amy Pechacek
The Future of Women and Wisconsin’s Thriving Communities, March 24, 2026, at Concordia 27 in Milwaukee, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with the following panelists:
