Milwaukee Police Investigate Two Separate Shootings; One Suspect Arrested, Another at Large

Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Monday, February 23, 2026, at approximately 12:28 a.m., on the 7200 block of N. 76th Street. The victim was in a vehicle when shots were fired and was subsequently struck. The 25-year-old victim arrived at a hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries. Milwaukee Police continue to seek unknown suspect(S). Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Monday, February 23, 2026, at approximately 7:30 a.m., on the 1200 block of S. 6th Street. The suspect and victim were involved fight that stemmed from a vehicle crash, when the suspect fired shots subsequently striking the victim. The victim, a 17-year-old, was transported to a hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries. The suspect a 20-year-old man, was arrested. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
