The Magic Realism of John Wilde is a tightly focused exhibition presenting a select group of drawings and paintings spanning from the early 1940s through the end of Wilde’s life in 2006. The exhibition offers an intimate look at works that define Wilde’s vision, technical mastery, and enduring relevance.

His work is represented in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, Museum of Modern Art, Crystal Bridges Museum of Art, Art Institute of Chicago, Milwaukee Art Museum, Museum of Wisconsin Art, Smithsonian American Art Museum, among many others.
