Chair Devin Remiker on Tom Tiffany Claiming He Hasnt Seen Video of Alex Pretti ICE Murder Despite Campaigning on Minnesota Politics
MADISON, Wis. — In his first press appearance of the year, GOP candidate for governor Tom Tiffany claims he has not seen the video of the ICE killing of Alex Pretti in Minnesota. Tiffany has been relentlessly campaigning on Minnesota politics including a recent congressional hearing and selling merchandise on campaign website—also focusing on Minnesota.
“Tom Tiffany claiming that he hasn’t seen the video of Alex Pretti’s execution is a pathetic excuse from a pathetic man. Tom Tiffany is, at best, a clueless coward and at worst a liar. Either way, he’s unfit to serve as governor of Wisconsin,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Devin Remiker.
By contrast, Minnesota GOP candidate for governor Chris Madel dropped out of the race as a direct response to Trump and the GOP waging an un-American and unconstitutional militant assault on local communities. Madel had a very similar campaign platform to Tiffany.
