Oak Creek Holiday Events to Include First-Ever Christmas Market

Oak Creek, Wis – December 3, 2025 – December has arrived which means it’s time for Christmas in Oak Creek! The City of Oak Creek is hosting three events this month to celebrate the holidays with the community.

Light the Square

Friday, December 5
5 PM-8 PM
Drexel Town Square (361 W Town Square Way, Oak Creek, WI)

We’re kicking off the holiday season with our annual tree lighting ceremony beginning at 6:30 PM. It’s more than just a tree lighting though. We’ll be lighting up the entire square with over 60,000 lights. There is plenty to experience before and after the lighting ceremony. We’ll have free crafts, carolers, and even Santa.

Christmas Market

Drexel Town Square (361 W Town Square Way, Oak Creek, WI)

The City of Oak Creek is hosting its first-ever Christmas Market! We’ll have over 50 local vendors in indoor and outdoor booths as well as food trucks selling specialty goods, crafts, treats plus live music all evening long. Some of our Drexel Town Square businesses are also getting involved with the event, offering deals and activities available only during the Christmas Market.

Merry & Bright Holiday Light Showdown

The Merry & Bright Holiday Light Showdown has returned for its second year. Homeowners in Oak Creek are competing for the title of best holiday light display in the city. Voting is open through Sunday, December 21. A map of participating homes is on our website.
