NARI Milwaukee Home & Remodeling Show, Oct 17-19, Features Special Basement Area
Show Offering Free Admission Oct. 19, 3-5 p.m.
MILWAUKEE (September 2025) – Most homeowners have a long list of things they’d like to improve or update. It might be a basement that’s unfinished, windows that are drafty, a roof that’s past its prime or a kitchen or bathroom that desperately deserve an update.
Whatever the need, the NARI Milwaukee Home & Remodeling Show is the way to connect with qualified resources who can provide insight and advice and get the job done right. NARI’s annual show runs Oct. 17-19 at the Exposition Center at Wisconsin State Fair Park, 8200 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis.
“In the fall when we’re all spending more time indoors, you start to notice the things you’d like to fix, replace or remodel,” says Michelle Brown, executive director of NARI Milwaukee. “Our fall show has the experts who can help make dreams a reality.”
Approximately 100 NARI Milwaukee members will be exhibiting and on hand to answer questions, make recommendations and provide guidance, solutions and creative suggestions. In fact, for 2026 indoor and outdoor projects, now is the time for homeowners to line up trusted, local professionals.
Participating exhibitors at the NARI Milwaukee Home & Remodeling Show run the gamut of remodeling and home improvement services and products – from design/build firms to specialized contractors for all areas of the home, including roofing, gutters, windows, doors, HVAC, electrical and more.
New this year, the show will host two hours with free admission. On Sunday, Oct. 19, the final two hours of the show (3–5 p.m.) are free during the Packers game. It’s the perfect opportunity for non-football fans—or anyone who wants to catch the show before it closes—to explore at no cost.
The Midwest Basement Revival: Make Room for Life Indoors
Since more homeowners are “discovering” the potential of their basement, the Home & Remodeling Show will feature a bevy of basement ideas. Showgoers can explore a traditional bar, tricked-out home theater, kids’ play area and more.
“Basements are a way to ‘expand’ a home without changing its footprint,” says Brown. “They’re an entire level of living that can meet a family’s needs—whether they’re looking for a place to entertain, an extra bedroom for overnight guests, a workout studio or home office.”
In addition to remodeling ideas, the exhibit will share information on ways to prevent flooding, keep foundations secure and ensure a home’s basement remains watertight and dry.
