The in-state rivalry returns to Fiserv Forum as MU hosts No. 7 Wisconsin for the first time since 2023. The excitement doesn’t stop there for MU, as they will face No. 15 Florida on Friday and No. 12 Minnesota on Sunday.

Marquette enters the match 5-2 after going 2-1 on the weekend. The Golden Eagles opened the Marquette Invitational with a 3-2 loss against Ball State but secured two 3-0 sweeps against James Madison and Milwaukee to close out tournament play.

MU and Wisconsin have met 26 times in program history. The last match between the two was on September 17, 2024, at the Kohl Center, where the Badgers took the 3-1 win.

Marquette’s lone win during that span came in Badger territory in 2019. The Golden Eagles sealed the win in five sets, defeating Wisconsin 3-2.

UF and MU have met 4 times with the Gators holding the record 3-1. The last meeting between the two was in 2014 and ended with the Golden Eagles defeating Florida 3-2.

MU and Minnesota have a very brief history with the Golden Gophers leading the series 5-0. The last serve between the two was in 2015 at the NCAA Volleyball Championship second round where MU fell in straight sets.
